FAIRY GENEALOGY

The following genealogy is derived from a combination of legends and genuine genealogies. None of these are thought to be Neverborn. The line is for the dryads (tree faeries) whose sequence is preserved in the Ogham. This line lived in Hy-Breasail (Avalon) and most of them were residents of the Grail Castle, all in Fairyland. This is primarily the female line, though the Druidic line was also a fairy line and is included where known.

Mathonwy was the father of Don.

Don, Danu or Dana, born about 1850 BC, was Mother of the Tuatha De Danann who took Ireland from the Firbolgs forcing the Firbolgs to escape into fairyland as giant grotesque spirit beings. She had Pendardun by Beli.

Pendardun was wife of Lir. Her son was Manawyddan (Mananan).

Manawyddan married the fairy Rhiannon and had a son, Owel The Druid.

Owel The Druid had a daughter, the fairy Aine.

Aine was living in 1680 BC when the Tuatha De Danann were conquered in by the Milesians and the Tuatha De Danann fled into Hy-Breasail (Fairyland, Avalon, The Western Isles). After the migration her grandfather, Manawyddan, was made king of the fairies. Descended from her was:

Druantia the Silver Fir (Birth Tree) was born about 525 BC. She was Queen of the Druids and mother of all the Ogham Trees (Dryads). Her daughter was:

Beth (Fair Blonde) the Birch who began the line. Fairy of beauty, love and desire. Her daughter was:

Luis (Delight of Eye) the Rowen who ruled the people. Her daughter was:

Fearn (Shield) the Alder who guided the people. Her daughter was:

Saille (Death) the Willow who balanced lives. She was mother of the fairy triad. Her daughter was:

Nuin (Weaver's Beam) the Ash who was bound. She was the first of the fairy triad. Her daughter was:

Huathe (Thorn or Wolf Teeth) the Hawthorn who was held back. She was second of the fairy triad. Her daughter was:

Duir (Highest) the Oak who was strong. She was third of the fairy triad. Her daughter was:

Tinne (Another) the Holly who prepared for the future. Her daughter was:

Coll (Fairest) the Hazel who built many things. Associated with plant fairies. Her daughter was:

Quert (Apple) the Apple who made a choice. Her daughter was:

Muin (Vertebrae) the Vine who meditated. Her daughter was:

Gort (Cornfield) the Ivy who failed in love. Her daughter was:

Ngetal (Broom) the Reed who was surprised. Her daughter was:

Straif (Sloe Red, the Blackthorn who failed to see the truth) married Gwydion the Druid (son of Don, the Mother of the Tuatha de Danann, who later became the Daoine Sidhe or Fairies) and is the ancestress of all the Swan Girls. Gwydion rode a great white horse which is also symbolic of his riding the Swan Girls. In otherwords, the legend said Gwydion was brought to shore as a child riding a white swan. This was how the sons of the Grail Castle were identified. Straif was Head of the Goddess in about 210 BC. She was the mother of Blodeuwedd.

Blodeuwedd Ruis (Blush, the Elderberry who closed the circle) married Lleu and Njorth of the Norse sagas. She was Head of the Goddess in about 190 BC. She was the mother of Drvantia Ailim and Frigg. She is associated with owls, flowers, lunar mysteries, and initiations.

Drvantia Ailim (Groan, the Silver Fir who learned) married, Gewar King of Norway (b. abt 170 BC). She was Head of the Goddess in about 170 BC. She was the mother of Nanna Ohn.

Nanna Ohn (Chariot Wheel, the Furze who discovered) married Beli Mawr, Soverign King of Keltic Britons (reigned 132-72 BC) and son of Odin by Frigg. She was Head of the Goddess in about 150 BC. She was the mother of Brand, Lludd, king Casswallan (95 BC-48 AD) and Ur Brigit.

Brigit Ur (Loam, the Heather who healed) married her brother Ludd, King of Briton (b. abt 130 BC, d. 62 BC). She was Head of the Goddess in about 130 BC. She was the mother of Cwmryu and Breidi (who married Bress son of Elathan of the Fomors).

Cwmryu Eadha (Distinguished, Aspen who was afraid), or Summer was Head of the Goddess in about 100 BC. She was the mother of Ithon. Apparently Cwmryu and Breidi died before Ithon was old enough to take the title because Penardim, the daughter of Breidi, became Head of the Goddess. Penardim Eadha married Lear, king of Briton (75BC-10AD) and was mother of Bran the Archdruid and Ioho (Idad, or Oldest, the Yew who changed) the Head of the Goddess. Bran married Anna (daughter of James the brother of Jesus) and was the father of a younger Bran the Archdruid who married Enygeus. Bran by Enygeus had a daughter Penardun who married Marius the king of Siluria. It is not clear what the two lines of priestesshood (one line from Cwmryu and the other from Breidi) indicate, possibly the Gaulish Ardennes and the British Ardennes, however, from Ioho descended the tree goddesses: Koad (Bouyant, the Grove who was wise), Oir (Most Venerable, the Spindle who accomplished), Uilleand (Most Juicy, the Honeysuckle who was cautious), Phagos (Sweetest, the Beech who innovated), and Emancoll (the Weary, or Mor, the Sea, who sailed away).

Ithon was Head of the Goddess in about 75 BC in the Ardennes, probably in Gaul. She was the mother of Gwerydd. The line from her probably traces the Gaulish fairy line.

Gwerydd was Head of the Goddess in about 50 BC. She was the mother of Peredur.

Peredur was Head of the Goddess in about 25 BC. She was the mother of Llyfeinydd.

Llyfeinydd was Head of the Goddess in about 1 AD. She was the mother of Teuged.

Teuged was Head of the Goddess in about 25 AD. She was the mother of Llarian.

Llarian or Laura was Head of the Goddess in about 50 AD. She was the mother of Ithel.

Ithel or Ethel was Head of the Goddess in about 75 AD. She was the mother of Enir.

Enir married Eugein, the son of Marius the king of Siluria by Penardun. She was Head of the Goddess in about 100 AD. She was the mother of Calchuynydd.

Calchuynydd or Gladys married Lleiffer Mawr, the king of Siluria (son of Coel I the son of Marius the king of Siluria by Penardun). She was Head of the Goddess in about 120 AD. She was the mother of Eurgen, Keribir, and Gladys.

Eurgen Llywarch married Aminadab (son of Josue, the son of Joseph the Rama-Theo). She was Head of the Goddess in about 140 AD. She was the mother of Idwal and Catheloys.

Idwal was Head of the Goddess in about 160 AD. She was the mother of Rhun.

Rhun was Head of the Goddess in about 180 AD. She was the mother of Bleddyn.

Bleddyn was Head of the Goddess in about 200 AD. She was the mother of Morgan.

Morgan or Morrigan married Titurel, the king and Lord Of The Grail Castle (son of Manael son of Catheloys son of Eurgen Llywarch). She was Head of the Goddess in about 220 AD. She was the mother of Frimutel Lord of the Grail, Glodobode, Rischoyde, and Berwyn.

Berwyn was Head of the Goddess in about 235 AD. She was the mother of Ceraint.

Ceraint was Head of the Goddess in about 220 AD. She was the mother of Briyiolais.

Briyiolais was Head of the Goddess in about 265 AD. She was the mother of Alafon.

Alafon was Head of the Goddess in about 280 AD. She was the mother of Anyn.

Anyn was Head of the Goddess in about 295 AD. She was the mother of Egre.

Egre married Boaz Anfortas king and Lord Of The Grail Castle. She was Head of the Goddess in about 310 AD. She was the mother of Igraine and Frotmund.

Igraine (Greidiol) de la Fountaine was Head of the Goddess in about 335 AD. She was the mother of Ceraint.

Ceraint Aoife married Cuchulainn the Ard Ri of Ireland (son of Lugh by Dechtine). She was Head of the Goddess in about 360 AD. She was the mother of Uathach and Merion.

Merion was Head of the Goddess in about 390 AD. She was the mother of Argotta.

FAIRY GENEALOGY II

Argotta married Frotmond (son of Faramond by princess Argotta the daughter of Genobaud). She was Head of the Goddess in about 404 AD. She was the mother of Ceredwin and Caid. Frotmond married his own daughter Caid and had a daughter, Caridwen (Caridwen married Baron Beli the Guletic).

Ceredwin del Acqs married Zambor the Arch Druid (son of Nascien II). She was Head of the Goddess in about 415 AD. She was the mother of Lambord the Arch Druid and Arnive.

Arnive del Acqs married Foith Aedan king of Dalriada (reigned 571-608; son of Gabran by Lleian, son of Eochaidh MacBrude). She was Head of the Goddess in about 435 AD. She was the mother of Arthur the Chief of Giants, Anna Arianrhod and Sangive. This Arthur is the famous king of Briton who wed Gwenhwyfar and was killed in 516 at the Battle of Mount Badon. Arnive also married Leo de Gance (Gorlois) the Guletic et Duc Caruele (Carlisle) Earl of Kerniw and had Morgaine Del Acqs, Bladud the Earl of Kerniw and Gwenhwyfar who married her half-brother Arthur king of All Britian.

Sangive married Lear of Lothian (460-549), king of the Welsh and Briton (son of Baron Beli the Guletic by Caridwen). She was Head of the Goddess in about 455 AD. She was the mother of Sir Gawain, Itonje, Beacurs, Cundrie and Surdamur. Apparently her daughters died young since her neice, Olwen, daughter of Gwenhwyfar by Arthur, became Head of the Goddess.

Gawain rides into a deep forest. In a 14th Century Manuscript. The Plant of Ard is clearly seen on his shield, a typical emblem of the Harding family.

Sir Gawain of Lothian (Leicester) the Knight of the Round Table (about 480-549) married his first cousin, Olwen, the daughter and heir of Arthur by Gwenhwyfar the daughter of Arnive by Leo de Gance. They had Jonaans who founded the counts of Brittany, Liege who founded the counts of Leige, Hardiz who founded the house of Ardenne and the Counts of Leicester, and Alize who was Head of the Goddess.

Re: Fairy Geneology

Here is some information I received that was passed to two people who had a visitation with gnomes around 1997. Since then, the have restored thier property to make it a haven for animals and Nature- and they teach classes there ,etc. They also have a webpage with many of the things the Faery Realm imparted to them... and I know alot of pagan folks won't want to hear this, but.. yes, they do acknowledge Jesus Christ (not organized religion- but the Person) Their World all ties in with the higher Realms.

I reccomend checking this site out-- it is very enlightening:

http://www.celticwisdom.net/gnomes.html

THE PEOPLE OF THE CELTIC FAERIE

The Gnomes

Many thousands of years ago, during the mythical, heroic age of humanity, terrible wars erupted between migrating humans and the people of the Faerie tribes. Although the tribes of Fair Folk tried desperately to hold fast to their homelands against the ever-increasing torrent of humanity which swept across the area now known as Europe, battles for land and plunder spread as fire to dry tender. The peaceful lives of the Gnomes, Elves, and others of the Faerie finally gave way to the violent tide of war.

Though a few pockets of resistance remain in our physical world even up to this day, these terrible wars pushed many of the Faerie westward. They traveled across the European continent, and finally to Britain, Scotland and Ireland. It was within these Celtic lands that they made their final stand, until they were once again overwhelmed by the unceasing persecution of humanity. It was at this time that the Fair Folk began to leave our physical world for the distant worlds of spirit, where no human warrior or evil shaman could follow them. At last, in the bright, spirit realm of Tir na n'Og, the Faerie tribes found a secure and lasting peace, for Tir na n'Og is the realm closest to the Mother and Father Creator, Jesus and Mother Mary.

We first came to know members of the Fair Folk in 1997, when two Gnomes introduced themselves to us. Since then, our relationship with the people of the Faerie has grown and strengthened, and, over time, we have become acquainted with quite a large number of Gnomes, Elves, Sprites, Centaurs and others members of the Faerie tribes. We realize that traditional legends of the Faerie hold that they are pagan in their beliefs. Our own experience with them, however, has shown otherwise, for these Faerie hold a deep love and respect not only for Mother Goddess and Father God, but for Christ and Mother Mary. Through this column, we hope other humans will come to realize that the Faerie truly do exist today and are not just a part of myth and legend.

Many different types of Faerie dwell in Tir na n'Og. Though their races are as varied as the shells in the ocean, they view one another as close family members and live among each other with love. Because the Gnomes were the first of the Fair Folk to greet us, we have chosen to write of them first.

Gnomes stand about 3 to 3-1/2 feet tall. Their ears are pointed, with the upper tips having a slight downward descent, while their eyes are slanted upwards. Male and female Gnomes are all very beautiful, and though they live to be thousands of years old, they choose the age at which they wish to represent themselves. Some appear very youthful, while others may take on the aspect of a more mature person, with white hair or beard. The Gnomes were one of the first of the tribes of Fair Folk to leave the physical realm and travel to the distant realms closer to the Mother and Father Creator. They are filled with great spiritual wisdom and unlimited love and compassion, even for humanity, who they view as brothers and sisters who have lost their way home.

Gnome women wear their hair long, and they often braid it or interweave elements of nature such as shells, leaves, or feathers. Many of the Gnome men grow beards, especially the warriors. A Gnome male is not looked down upon should he decide not to grow a beard, but once grown, a beard is seldom shaved off, for to do so would be almost like walking about without your trousers on (or, at least, that is a Gnome saying).

Gnome homes can be found in the midst of nature, usually in a wooded area. Their homes are very comfortable, round, dome-like structures covered with earth and with green, growing things, such as trees, flowers, and grass. These homes do not take away from nature, but instead become a part of it, for it is the Gnomes' great wish to live in harmony with Mother Earth and all of her children, and their homes reflect this philosophy.

The Fair Folk tend to have fewer children then humans do, but when a child is born, she or he is loved completely and without limit. When a Gnome mother is expecting, it is traditional for the mother and father, in preparation for the child's birth, to build a circular nest within their home, using the natural elements of the forest. Within this safe and secure haven, the mother gives birth to the baby, in the same way as a human, but without the traumatic labor pains. The mother and child remain within this comfortable birthing place for three days, after which time the nest is dismantled and returned to Mother Earth.

As the child grows and begins to wear shoes, she or he receives, as a blessing, shoes which are larger then the child's feet. The idea behind this folk tradition is that the child will have to keep growing to fill the shoes, and when the child grows into his or her first shoes, then another too-large pair is fitted for the child. This too-large shoe tradition continues until the child is fully grown. An old Gnome saying, "still tripping in their shoes," refers to a Gnome who is still very young. Young for a Gnome would be around 110-120 human years. At that youthful point in their long life, the aging process stops.

The Mother and Father Creator, in their love for one another, hold each other as equals in the fabric of creation. Therefore, the social system of the Gnomes is one of equality between the sexes. Women and men are considered to be of equal worth and social standing, and to deny this would be completely alien to Gnome beliefs. In fact, all Fair Folk hold to this belief of equality between the sexes and, also, between all creation. Concerning matters of the heart, all Fair Folk choose their mates for no other reason than love. They see their love for their mates as sacred, and they are eternally loyal to one another.

Gnome communities are based upon extremely cooperative, democratic principles, or the "Law of Living in Harmony with All Creation." Each Gnome is free to choose the life task which will give him or her the most pleasure. No matter what the task, whether it be craftsperson, priestess or priest, warrior, or farmer, no one's task is raised above the other. When goods are required or desired, the Gnomes either make what they need themselves or use a very open barter system. No Gnome would ever discover a reason to envy the possessions of a neighbor.

Though they are of the same family, there are two tribes of Gnomes, the Red Caps and the Green Caps. In many cases, Red Caps and Green Caps intermarry. Both tribes accomplish their missions with prayers, ceremonies, counseling, and direct spiritual and physical hands-on healing.

The Red Caps dwell mostly in Tir na n'Og, where they deal in large part with spiritual matters, except when called upon to perform missions of teaching or healing or (in the case of Warrior Gnomes) to travel on military campaigns to the darker spirit realms closer to our physical realm. The ranks of the Warrior Gnomes contain both Red Cap and Green Cap volunteers. These warriors are both male and female and are highly trained in spiritual matters, as well as in the art of war. They are sent into battle with other Fair Folk allies against the minions of the Evil One (or Lucifer as he is sometimes referred to by humans) in the darker realms.

While the Red Caps peer behind the physical curtain to find the spiritual influences which motivate the physical world, the Green Caps are the caretakers of the nature kingdom. They live in a protected realm close to the physical Earth, where they are placed on the front lines between humanity and Mother Earth. Because of this daily contact, they endure much emotional pain from the devastation of the Great Mother by humans.

Though they have witnessed the pain and suffering caused to the Great Mother and her children by human hands, the Fair Folk yet share a vision of hope for the future reunion of humanity with the Faerie and all the rest of creation. The Faerie believe this joyous reunion will occur when the spirit self of Mother Earth is reunited with her physical self, and the Garden returns once more to dwell upon the physical Earth. This time will signal the liberation of humanity and all creation from the touch of the Evil One, that all may return home to the great love of Mother and Father Creator, our beloved brother, Jesus, and Mother Mary.
